WC Parade & Chili Cook-Off

Thank you to all whom participated in our Holiday events this past weekend. The Wright City Holiday parade was thrown together last minute and we lost power on the float before anyone could see the lights but it was still a lot of fun. now we know what to expect next year. The kids had a blast "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and you can check out more photos on our webpage.

Demo Derby - May 1st 2010

Hometown Christmas Chili Cook-Off

This year we are helping the Warrenton Downtown Association with the Chili Cook-Off. This is a family friendly event held on December 4th on Main Street in the evening. Carriage rides, Santa Clause, Live Nativity Scene and Live music plus more will be available for all to get into the spirit of the holidays.

We'll need people to spread the word about this event as much as possible so we get enough entries and enough people attending. PLUS we'll need volunteers that night of for set up and break down. Please let us knw if your interested.

Mad Art Trivia - Recap

Mad Art Trivia Night was so much fun! While we didn't have a lot of people attend
we still had a great night and raised ? to donate to Camp Wonderland. We want to thank our own Heather Helleman for doing such a wonderful job and really going above and beyond by settin up this event. Also, thanks to all those who donated prizes and came out to have fun. We all learned a little and got a chance to meet some other local Jaycee members.

Membership Update

Membership is booming and we're just getting started. Please welcome Trois, Shelby, Taura, Suzanne and Karl! We're excited to see so many people interested and are thrilled that word is spreading about our Chapter. If you know anyone who wants to be involved in our community, wants to meet new friends and has a desire to help others and themselves please bring them to our meeting. Thank you everyone for your hard work and great spirits!

Demo Derby - Recap

Our Demolition Derby was a success! A big thank you to our sponsors: First State Community Bank, Warrenton Kroger, Lewis & Bade, Victory Tire, Mr Bills Thrills, Sign Design, BJ Septic, Dyer Rental, Warrenton Tire & Muffler & Warrenton Elks Lodge. Another big THANK YOU goes to all our volunteers, we could have done it without your hard work and support. We'll have more info on how much we raised for the Warrenton Handicapped Services soon.
Now we need to concentrate on the Golf Tournament. Teams, Sponsors and prizes need to be rounded up quickly so we can have another successful event. Please let Dan Dieckmann know if you have any of the above.

Hwy Clean Up - THANK YOU!

A big THANKS to our volunteers that helped with Hwy clean up. Cory, Brook, Leslie, Dan, Richy, Sara and Sam. Pictures are posted if you wanna check them out.
If you haven't already heard... we have set up a Membership Challenge. What that means is if you bring in the most members (in good standing) at the end of the year the Warren County Jaycees will pay for your membership. There are some great young leaders in our community and we would love to have them aboard. Bring them to a meeting so they can see how fun we really are.

Hwy Clean Up - Volunteers

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR HWY CLEAN UP! Please? We'll meet tomorrow at 3pm in the commuter parking lot in Warrenton. It's easy amd you get feel good knowing that your helping our community look it's best.
Also, keep April 17th open! Urban Tanz and Sharper Image will be hosting their Chamber After Hours that evening.

Pub Crawl 09

The Pub Crawl was a success and other than a few hick-ups it went very smoothly. Thanks to all those who donated time and sold tickets. There are still t-shirts left for $5 each if you're interested.
